Permanent Makeup

  • All permanent makeup services begin with a personalized consultation. This allows us to understand your goals, assess your skin, and design a look that complements your natural features. It’s also the perfect time to answer any questions and ensure you feel informed, comfortable, and confident moving forward.

  • Please ensure that the area of service is well moisturized and free of any abrasions, including dermatitis, rash, cuts or scratches, along with acne. It is important that the area is not chapped/irritated as it will not allow for proper implantation of pigment and may cause undesired results when healing. Drink plenty of water!

    Please avoid the following:

Day of Service: Caffeine, Working Out, Alcohol, Blood Thinning Medications, or Anti-Inflammatories

2wks Prior: Waxing, plucking, tweezing, Exfoliants

3wks Prior: Tanning, Facials, Peels, Acne Medications, Botox/FillerInside of Whiskey River Tattoo

It is important to understand some factors that may affect healing when receiving permanent makeup procedures. This is not to limit any client from receiving treatment, but to provide quality healed results and promote the best aftercare.

*Must be over the age of 18 and NOT pregnant to receive PMU services.

Consult your doctor prior to receiving PMU services if any of the following apply:

Acne Medications, Auto Immune Disease, Anemia, Cancer/Chemotherapy, Cold Sores, Diabetes, Eczema/Psoriasis, Hepatitis A B C, HIV/AIDS, High Blood Pressure, Keloids, Thyroid Disorders, Allergies to latex, petroleum, stainless steel, or any form of numbing solutions.

*If you are prone to cold sores, you must receive medication and begin using it prior to your appointment to prevent an outbreak. (Applies to Lip Blushing/Neutralization Services only)

  • It is important to follow all aftercare given to you and reviewed at the time of service. Each service will vary slightly in aftercare procedures, however they will include keeping the surface clean and routinely applying a thin layer of the BLOOMXKALI Ointment provided at your service.

Please make sure you avoid excess sweating, saunas, pools/beaches for a minimum of 10 days following service.

Refrain from facials and “intense” facial services including lasers, derma-planing, and micro-needling for a minimum of 4 weeks. *For facial PMU services

No botox of filler in the brow/lip area for 2-4 weeks. (The longer the better, to allow for proper healing and realistic expectations)

Day 1: Immediately following your service you will see swelling as well as a brighter appearance of the pigment. This will subside, however it is important that you blot the area throughout the day to remove any lymph fluid (oozing) to ensure that the area will heal properly.

Day 2-4: There may be some residual swelling however you will notice a dramatic decrease in the overall swelling. The color will likely appear very dark, but it is okay! This is just a part of the healing process. Continue using the aftercare ointment provided and apply a thin layer to the area of service. You may notice some peeling and flaking, DO NOT PICK at it. This is very important as it can impact the pigment retention and cause spotting once your PMU is healed.

Day 5-7: At this point, your PMU is peeling and the color may appear very light. Please don't stress as the color will return after it heals a little bit more. Continue moisturizing as needed with the provided ointment!

Day 8+: CONGRATS! You did it! You got PMU and went through a majority of the healing process. You may notice that the colors will continue fading and reappearing as your skin cells are sloughing off and regenerating to heal your new tattoo. Continue moisturizing as needed and do not stress out about any light or dark spots in your new tattoo. This is why perfection sessions are highly recommended.

Touch-ups are not included in your initial service price.

Some clients may require additional touch-ups depending on their desired results.

  • Permanent Makeup and Paramedical Tattooing is a multi-step process designed to enhance your natural features with precision and care. During your appointment, we’ll discuss your desired goals and map out your desired shape, implant quality top of the line pigment into the skin using specialized techniques, all while ensuring your comfort throughout the process. Mild redness or swelling is normal and generally subsides within 24hrs. Healing roughly typically takes 7–14 days depending on the service received. Often times, a perfecting session is highly recommended to refine your results once healed.

Ombre’/Powder Brow

Ombré brows are a softly-shaded brow technique that creates a natural yet defined look—perfect for those who want fuller, more polished brows with a gradient effect. The result is a powdery finish that mimics the look of makeup, with lighter fronts and a gradual darkening toward the tails. Ideal for all skin types, ombré brows offer long-lasting results with minimal maintenance.

Lip Blushing

Lip Blushing is a cosmetic tattoo designed to enhance the natural shape and color of your lips. This technique adds a soft, subtle tint while defining the lip border for a fuller, more symmetrical appearance—without harsh lines or overdrawn results. Perfect for clients seeking a subtle boost in color and long-term lip definition, lip blushing delivers a naturally radiant finish that lasts.

3D Areola Restoration

Often times following mastectomy procedures, clients are left without areolas and sometimes nipples. 3D Areola Restoration makes clients feel complete again by using artistic practices to replicate areolas and nipples onto the clients chest.

Freckles & Beauty Marks

Your freckled dreams are a reality! Whether you’re wanting a singular beauty mark or a full face of natural freckles, it can be done.

Scar Camouflage & SMR

SMR is a newly innovative way to restore the tissue of stretch marks by increasing collagen and elastin production naturally. Clients often see results after just one session!

As it sounds, scar camouflage is when color is implanted into the skin to mimic surrounding tissue, minimizing the appearance of scars.

Scalp Micro-Pigmentation

Commonly sough after in Alopecia or thinning patients, SMP is a cosmetic procedure involving mimicking hair follicles with the use of a tattoo machine. This practice provides clients with the appearance of fullness of hair or in some cases camouflaging small sections of hair loss.
